Only when a merchant you referred becomes a paying customer of a Zilancer app. Clicks and free installs alone never generate commission — the app's billing system confirms the payment server-to-server before anything is credited to you.

Your link records the click (with UTM data, your own sub_id tag and a hashed IP — never your visitor's raw IP) and forwards the visitor to the Shopify App Store. Because the App Store is a separate site we don't control, the most reliable signal is the referral code the merchant enters inside the app, on its plan page. We're upfront about this rather than promising perfect cookie tracking.

Nothing is earned during the trial — commission starts with the first real charge. If the merchant cancels before the trial ends, no commission is created at all. If they upgrade later, you're credited for the new plan within your commission window.

Yes, on every subscription app — for 12 months per referred merchant. As long as the merchant keeps paying, you keep earning each billing cycle. ZS Sections is the exception: merchants buy sections one at a time, so you earn once per purchase. If a merchant cancels, future commissions stop; already-earned approved commissions aren't clawed back unless the payment itself was refunded.

The related commission is reversed with a recorded adjustment — we never silently delete financial records, and you get an email explaining why. If a customer refunds before the holding period ends, that commission simply doesn't become payable.

We pay by bank transfer via payoneer: the money goes to your Payoneer account and you withdraw it to your local bank. Commissions clear a 30-day holding period, then count toward your available balance. Once you're above the $50 minimum you can request a payout from your dashboard. Requests are reviewed and sent within 7 business days. No fee from Zilancer — Payoneer's own fees may apply.

No. Self-referrals — your own store, your own accounts, or accounts you control — aren't eligible, and our fraud checks flag them for review. The full rules are in the Affiliate Agreement.

No. Agencies, freelancers, YouTubers, bloggers, course creators, and community owners are all welcome. What matters is that you reach Shopify merchants and promote honestly.
